SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Antiochos I Soter, 281-261 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 29 mm, 17.03 g, 1 h), Seleukeia on the Tigris. Diademed head of Antiochos I to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ - ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟY Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding arrow in his right hand and resting his left on grounded bow; to left, monogram of HYI (?); to right, monogram of ΩXA. SC 379.6 var. (differing monogram on the reverse). A superb and very well centered coin, struck in high relief and with a remarkably individual portrait. Very minor marks, otherwise, extremely fine.
